iTunes Connect to Shut Down December 22-29 for Winter Holidays

Apple has sent out email notifications to developers to inform them iTunes Connect will shut down for Winter Holidays from December 22nd to the 29th. Here are the details:

During this shutdown, the following functionality will be unavailable:

  • Access to iTunes Connect
  • The delivery of any apps or updates

Additionally, the following will be delayed:

  • Releases scheduled to appear on the App Store for the first time
  • Pricing changes scheduled through the interval pricing system in iTunes Connect
Apple recommends developers to not schedule price changes or the launch of any apps during this period during the shut down. Last year, the shut down period was from December 23-28. So this year, they get two extra days. As hard as the iTunes Connect team works, they deserve holidays too, eh?
