Pokémon Quest has made its way to iOS and Android, bringing this action RPG—which is also available on Nintendo Switch—to mobile devices. The game is free but powered by in-app purchases.
This action RPG was developed by GAME FREAK inc., the original developer of the classic Pokémon RPG titles. Pokemon Quest stars the beloved Pokémon that were originally discovered in the Kanto region, such as Charmander, Pikachu, and Eevee.
The game premise involves your favourite Pokemon characters in the shape of cubes exploring Tumblecube Island for hidden goodies, doing battle along the way and also being able to create a team.
There’s also a special offer right now, for those who purchase the Mini Expedition Pack in-app purchase—you’ll get a special Pikachu that knows the attack Surf. This offer is only available for 72 hours after you’ve accessed additional content within Pokemon Quest.
Saved Pokemon Quest data from Nintendo Switch cannot be transferred to mobile or vice versa.
Pokemon Quest requires iOS 9 or higher and “may not function properly on iPhone 5 and other devices that are not compatible with iOS 11.”
