Subway Canada iPhone App Gets Apple Pay Support and Curbside Pickup

Subway Canada has updated its iPhone app to finally bring support for in-app Apple Pay and also curbside pickup.

The update released today explains, “ordering the meals you love is now even easier with Apple Pay, and more convenient with Curbside Pickup.”

With Apple Pay, iPhone customers can just use their existing credentials setup within the mobile payment method to pay for purchases in the Subway app. This eliminates the need to use a credit card or store one on file.

With COVID-19, contactless ordering has arrived via a new “Curbside Pickup” option in your cart. Subway says, “tell us your car’s make and model, and we’ll bring your food out when you arrive.”

Last August, Subway for iPhone added support for Siri Shortcuts, to allow users to place orders with Apple’s virtual assistant.
