WestJet for iOS Gets 3D Touch Support for Quick Actions

Last week WestJet updated their iOS app to support 3D Touch for iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus users, allowing them to “quickly access key features.”

3D Touch is now available on the app’s icon, allowing Quick Actions to: Flight status, Check in, My trips and Book, as seen below in our screenshot:

What’s New in Version 2.6
This update includes:
• The ability to now use 3D Touch to quickly access key features
• Improved booking experience now loads results faster when you submit a search for flights
• A temporary removal of Travel information from the app to make necessary updates to this feature

WestJet also explains searching for flights is much faster than before, but also the Travel information feature has been removed momentarily to add further updates to it coming in the future.
