Earlier today, Apple sent out media invites for WWDC19, its annual developer conference set to kick off on June 3, 2019. Shortly afterwards, the WWDC iOS app was updated for developers attending the conference.

According to Apple, “This update adds a new profile area for managing notifications, virtual queuing for labs, and app icon selection, in addition to minor improvements and bug fixes.”

The new WWDC sticker pack follow this year’s theme of neon colours, while when you tap on your account in the top right corner, you’ll see a new option to select your app icon colour, with 8 colours to choose from.

According to the WWDC app, which is currently featured as an App of the Day, Apple says, “this year, try the new virtual queuing feature to avoid having to stand in long lines when labs get too crowded. And, just for fun, you can change the app’s familiar icon to a fresh new colour.”

WWDC 2019 runs from June 3-7 in San Jose, California. Apple is expected to preview next versions of iOS, watchOS, macOS and tvOS, most likely to release this fall.
