Apple Store Down as Company Prepares for ‘Peek Performance’ Event

Apple is currently conducting maintenance and updates to the online Apple Store ahead of today’s ‘Peek Performance’ Apple event. Once the event concludes, the storefront will be back up and likely feature preorders for announced devices.

The Apple event is set to take place today at 1 PM ET/ 10 AM PT. Very little official information has been given by the company. Though recent reports indicate that the company will debut the iPhone SE 3, iPad Air (fifth-gen), at least one new refreshed Mac device and more. There are also rumours pointing to a possible announcement of the “Mac Studio” device. Speculations of whether or not Apple may release info on the M2 chip have also surfaced.

Additional information and how to watch the event can be found here.

As Apple indicates on the online storefront page, “Updates are coming to the Apple Store.” Once the event concludes, Apple will provide purchasing information such as pricing, pre-order dates, and shipment details on the announced devices. The event itself will likely last an hour to 90-minutes.
