Fido is offering a holiday deal in the form of Apple’s 2nd-generation AirPods for $60 total, if you subscribe to the Fido Payment Program for the earphones.
“For a limited time, get second-generation AirPods for $0 down on approved credit and just $2.50/mo (after bill credit, taxes extra) for 24 months with Fido Payment Program1. 0% interest. Full Price: $180.00. For Fido mobile customers on select plans,” explains the Fido website.
Apple.ca sells AirPods 2 for $179, so you’re saving $119 or 66% off the retail price. Fido says it’s only available in-store on “select plans”. The AirPods deal applies to those adding a line or upgrading a plan to be eligible for this promo.
Again, if you’re looking to get a set of AirPods 2 for cheap, this seems like a decent deal, if you’re ready to get locked in for 24 months.
