Rogers has announced it has launched smartphone repair services at select stores starting today.

A new partnership with Brightstar-owned WeFix will see smartphone repair services debut at 11 Rogers stores in the Greater Toronto Area today, with expansion coming to more locations in the coming weeks to the area. Next year, the program will reach other Rogers stores across Canada.

“Now more than ever, Canadians rely on their smartphones to stay connected, and as customers look to keep their devices longer, the need for fast, trusted and easily accessible repair services is so important,” said Brent Johnston, President, Wireless, Rogers Communications, in an issued statement.

Rogers says problems with batteries, broken screens, cameras, audio, software, and more, can be fixed “within hours”, with repairs tracked in real-time.

“With this service, Canadians can get their smartphones repaired by an expert at one of our Rogers stores, within hours, and have it backed by a 90-day guarantee whether they want to keep it for themselves or to hand it down to a friend or family member,” added Johnston.

Rogers mentions stores in Toronto, Brampton, Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Markham and Oshawa, as some locations seeing the new service available today.
