The Mobile Shop kiosks can be found inside any Loblaw retail location such as Superstore, and right now a deal has popped up for the latest iPhone XR from Telus flanker brand Koodo Mobile.
You can get the 64GB iPhone XR for $550 upfront on a Medium Tab ($360 repaid over 24 months at $15/month). This also means you’ll require a Medium Tab plan, which starts at $45 per month with 2GB of data and 500 anytime minutes ($5 more for unlimited Canada-wide calling).
The Mobile Shop promo offers a $100 bonus in PC Points for the iPhone XR, plus if you have a trade in (any old cellphone), you can get an additional $50 in PC Points.
So all said and done, you’ll be paying $550 upfront, $360 on your Medium Tab, minus the $150 in bonus PC Points. That works out to $760 for the iPhone XR, instead of $1029 from Apple.ca, a difference of $269 in savings (or 26% off). If you’re not happy with your Koodo Mobile service, you could just cancel immediately and repay your existing Tab balance and keep the device (then use the phone with any other plan).

While there may be better deals on iPhone XR with Black Friday just a week away, this one from The Mobile Shop is not bad.
P.S. – The Mobile Shop also has an offer on the 32GB iPhone 7, as it’s available for $0 upfront on Medium Tab, plus also includes the $100 PC Points bonus and is eligible for the $50 trade-in PC Points as well. This works out to $210 for an iPhone 7, which is pretty good.
