Telus Expands 5G Network on Vancouver Island in B.C.
Telus announced yesterday it has expanded its 5G network on Vancouver Island in British Columbia.
The following areas now have Telus 5G:
- Municipality of Saanich
- Town of Comox
- Courtenay
- Village of Cumberland
- Campbell River

“Now more than ever, TELUS is committed to keeping Canadians connected, productive and healthy. Indeed, the ongoing expansion of our next-generation 5G technology is bridging time and distance, allowing residents to live and work in any community without compromising productivity or economic opportunity,” said Darren Entwistle, President and CEO, in a statement.
Telus says over 70% of the Canadian population now has access to the company’s 5G network, offering speeds up to 1.7 Gbps.
