
Telus Optik TV customers who are reality TV fans can now watch reality TV from the new hayu app. Hayu is the reality TV streaming service from NBCUniversal International (NBCUI) and it’s now available for Optik TV customers in Alberta and B.C.
Optik TV customers can access hayu on channel 336 or from the app home page. Telus says it is the exclusive carrier partner in Canada to offer a dedicated hayu app within its TV interface.
“Since launching in Canada over one year ago, hayu has grown to become the premiere destination for must-have reality TV.” says Hendrik McDermott, SVP, Branded On-Demand, NBCUniversal International. “We are thrilled to now partner with the innovative TELUS Optik TV platform and make hayu even more accessible for reality TV fans in Western Canada.”
Hayu Canada costs $5.99 CAD per month in Canada and comes with a one-month free trial. You can click here to sign up. The service is also available on Apple TV, iOS, Android and the web.
