Sony Portable DVD Player Giveaway Update — Twestival Vancouver 2009
You might have remembered my constant plugging of trying to get over 1000 followers on Twitter so everyone could win the DVD player. Well, it hasn’t happened so the Sony Portable DVD Player won’t be up for grabs anymore.
Why? Because I’ve decided to donate the player to charity on behalf of iPhoneinCanada.ca, which includes all of you out there as well! It’s now one of the raffle items in Vancouver Twestival 2009 event. 😉
This event is happening in 185 cities across the globe simultaneously to raise money for Charity: Water. Currently, over 1 billion people do not have clean drinking water. This fundraiser hopes to make a difference. I think I’ll start doing my part by drinking water out of the toilet–you should too.
You can purchase tickets for the Vancouver event here through Amiando only. Vancouver’s Twestival event will be taking place February 12, 2009 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at the Opus Hotel in Yaletown. I should be there that night so maybe I’ll get a chance to meet some of you guys in person. Buy your ticket now!
