If you’re looking for a deal on Apple gift cards for Black Friday 2021, an early deal is available from the PC Optimum Points program.
Right now, PC Optimum says for every $50 spent on Apple gift cards at No Frills, you can get 5,000 points. There is a limit of up to $500 per single custom transaction, in-store only.
Earning 5,000 PC Optimum points is equivalent to $5, so you’re saving 10% off a $50 card. Spend $500 and you can get $50 back in PC Optimum points (50,000 points). The offer expires on November 24, 2021.
This special offer was seen within the PC Optimum mobile app, by iPhone in Canada reader Jonathan, located in Toronto, Ontario (we’re not seeing it here in B.C.). It may be region-specific, so ‘your mileage may vary’.
Back in July, Apple launched universal gift cards in Canada, eliminating iTunes gift cards and the frequent discounts on the latter found at retailers such as Costco. These new Apple gift cards can be used for digital purchases and for products. So the savings above in PC Optimum points can be seen as 10% in savings on any Apple purchase.
