They were not updated with the Apple W1 bluetooth chip… which mean they only get 10-12 hours battery life when the solo3 get easily over 40 hours. They are probably in promo because Apple is likely to update them soon to bring them to parity with the rest of the line.

While they sound pretty good, they are built fairly cheap. Mine snapped in half at the pivot point (where they fold) when I was just putting them on my head. ????
