Self-isolation during this COVID-19 pandemic can get boring, as one needs to get creative when you’re at home, especially with kids. Gaming can help pass the time which is why the Nintendo Switch is going to be on sale this weekend at Shoppers Drug Mart.

The Nintendo Switch is regularly priced at $399.99, but for Saturday and Sunday (March 28/29) only at Shoppers, you can get a free $100 store gift card with your purchase. This essentially saves you $100 off the Switch, taking it down to $299.99 (you could use the gift card to buy Mario Kart 8 Deluxe or another game, for example).

The Shoppers Drug Mart flyer notes there’s a limit of two per purchase. Good luck finding one in stock at your local store (plus the risk involved in venturing into a SDM during this COVID-19 outbreak).

The Nintendo Switch is out of stock and backordered on Amazon.ca, while also sold out at Best Buy and other retailers, as people are buying up these units during the coronavirus outbreak and staying at home. The handheld-only Nintendo Switch Lite is still widely available at $259.99.
