Apple Black Friday Event Teaser Posted Online

Black Friday happens this week in the US, and it’s one of the biggest shopping days ever. Apple has a Black Friday sale every year, which usually equates to discounts on Macs, iPods, and accessories. Typically the discounts are the equivalent of the Education Store, sometimes even more.

Click here to view the Black Friday sales in Canada from last year. Here were the discounts from 2009, which you can keep an eye on to compare with this Friday:

  • 8-10% on entry level Mac configurations
  • 4-5% on the more advanced Mac configurations
  • 8-10% off iPod touch
  • 4-6% off iPod Nano
  • 4-15% off remaining accessories (software, routers, keyboards, mice, etc)
  • __ % off iPads for 2010??

MacStories found a link to the UK Apple Store that shows the above ad teaser. Changing the URL to the Canadian Store results in the same landing page. Apple products rarely go on sale, if ever. Your best bet is to stay tuned to this Friday, or buy a Mac with an Eduction discount or during the annual Back to School Promos.

What impulse purchases are you looking forward to this Friday? Mac? Apple TV? Magic Mouse?

Just got the email. Which is the same as the link above.

But that silly Apple Store App doesn’t work in Canada yet 🙁

Does anyone know what these prices traditionally compare to Canadian Boxing Day sales?

(We are trying to decide when the best time to buy the 27″ iMac will be.)

Apple products rarely go on sale. These Black Friday sales will probably be
your best bet, aside from Education discounts (available all year round).
Or, wait until the Back to School promo begins again.
