iTunes 10.5 Beta 8 & iWork For iOS Beta 3 Seeded To Developers

Attention all developers! iTunes 10.5 Beta 8 and iWork for iOS beta 3 are now available for download via the Apple developers’ portal. Both the new betas are primarily aimed at Apple’s iCloud service which is scheduled to go public with the announcement of iOS 5 this fall. According to the early reports, iTunes 10.5 beta 8 brings a lot of bug fixes and performance enhancements for iTunes Match beta service. As noted by 9to5Mac, the new iTunes beta also brings the ability to back up to iCloud from inside of iTunes.

Here is the complete change log for iTunes 10.5 beta 8 (via BGR):

  • Songs in unsupported formats will not be uploaded to iCloud at this time.
  • The scan & match feature is not yet complete.
  • Some songs may not match (even if they is available in the iTunes Store) and will be uploaded to iCloud.
  • Other songs may match to a different version of the same song on the iTunes Store.
  • You can only add music to iCloud from more than one computer at a time.
  • After updating to iOS 5 beta 7, your music may fail to play.  If this happens, turn of
