More Leaked ‘N94’ Component Images Reveal Cheaper iPhone ‘4S’ Design?

Macpost has obtained more leaked images of purported ‘N94’ iPhone parts, this time pictures revealing the LCD, digitizer screen panel and Home button. The design is identical to the iPhone 4. Former leaked white ‘N94’ back panels also revealed similar design to the iPhone 4. Notice the Home button is the same and nothing has really changed.

Parts below are labeled N94 EVT1, indicating a next-generation iPhone:

The LCD part is clearly labeled as N94 “EVT1? (Engineering Verification Testing) with date ’03-March-2011?. Whilst, the white front cover posted few days back was labeled “EVT2? with date ’07-June-2011?. Since these are marked as N94 EVT1, the images are definitely of next generation model.

This morning reports alluded the iPhone 5 would have a metal chassis rather than reinforced glass. With the iPhone 5 set to have a new design, and reports of a cheaper iPhone coming, these pictures definitely allude to the latter.

What do you think? Would these pics be for iPhone ‘4S’ or iPhone 5? I can’t see Apple sticking with the same design yet again for a next-generation device.
