Announced on the 60 Minutes Facebook page earlier today, the interview will surely reveal details about Steve Jobs we’ve never heard about before. Here’s the segment description from 60 Minutes:
“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The ones who see things differently. The people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world and are the ones who do it.”
That’s how Steve Jobs described Apple in the “Think Different” ad that became something of a manifesto for his company and a statement about Jobs himself. Next up on 60 Minutes, Steve Kroft sits down with Walter Isaacson, the author and historian who Jobs asked to write his biography. Isaacson says that Jobs wanted the book to be wholly, if not brutally, honest. Jobs told Isaacson, “nothing is off limits.” Tune in to 60 Minutes on Sunday to hear more about the life and work of Steve Jobs — a perfectionist whose life was far from perfect.
