StealthSIM: Unlock Your 1.1.2 iPhone TODAY!

Invisible Shield for iPhone
How Many of You Are Waiting for the 1.1.2 Unlock?

Let me guess–you drove down to the USA, bought your iPhone for $399US, and are patiently waiting for the iPhone Dev Team to come out with their free 1.1.2 firmware software unlock. I can just imagine the hundreds of Canadians out there just scouring the internet for news on unlocking the 4.6 bootloader that exists on OTB 1.1.2 iPhones with Rogers or Fido! Must be frustrating, right?

Guess What! Your Wait is Over!

Are you tired of waiting? Want to use your iPhone within a week? You can do that today! Lots of my friends who have purchased 1.1.2 iPhones from the States now have their iPhones working thanks to the StealthSIM. That’s right folks–it’s similar to the TurboSIM, however this time around the prices have dropped and there is lots of stock. All you have to do is “jailbreak” your 1.1.2 iPhone, modify your SIM card slightly, then insert your Rogers/Fido SIM + StealthSIM into your iPhone and BAM–you’ll be calling your jealous friends in no time!

How Much Does the StealthSIM Cost?

The cost for a StealthSIM is $99US in Canada from iPhone The Solution (an official Canadian retailer of the StealthSIM), and Express shipping is $25.75 to anywhere in Canada. So for less than the cost of the TurboSIM, you get virtually the same product that will be delivered to you in less than a week!

But it gets better! Enter the coupon code “IPHONECA” and you will get $5 off your StealthSIM order from iPhoneTheSolution. This is the cheapest price on the internet! Feel free to tell your friends about this deal!

The StealthSIM is the easiest and simplest way to unlock your new 1.1.2 iPhone. Tutorials and videos are included on the iPhone The Solution website, offering easy step by step instructions.

Website screen shots:

The StealthSIM works for over 100 GSM carriers along with Rogers, AT&T, FIDO, T-Mobile,  Vodaphone, ORANGE,  Virgin , Mobile, and o2 to name a few.

What Are the StealthSIM Instructions?

Instructions are simple and the following guide (along with pictures) is provided by iPhone the Solution.

Why Should I Buy the StealthSIM?

With the 1.1.3 firmware update around the corner, the cat and mouse “jailbreak/activate” game between Apple and the iPhone Dev Team will enter another round. We don’t know if 1.1.3 can be “jailbreaked” or unlocked. There are lots of shady Chinese knockoffs out there for StealthSIM and TurboSIM solutions. Purchase your unlock solution from a company within Canada and have the peace of mind knowing that it will arrive in the mail!

So if you want to use an iPhone, it would be highly recommended to pick up a StealthSIM while they are still in stock–because once they are gone, you could very well end up waiting forever for another unlock to be released! Click here to buy your StealthSIM!

No one knows when the iPhone will be released in Canada. It’s pure speculation when Rogers will sell the iPhone.

This unlock solution is not for me, but for people who bought a new iPhone with 1.1.2 firmware from the USA. Those iPhones cannot be unlocked at the moment…so this your only solution. The iPhone Dev Team has mentioned that they need to wait for 1.1.3 firmware to be released before the newest software unlock will be available–and that is also speculation too. So for someone who doesn’t want to wait…a StealthSIM or TurboSIM is the only way to go.

Yes this would be the way to go for the 1.1.2otb iPhone users but I personally would rather wait for a software unlock from the Dev Team :)I don’t think Rogers will be releasing the iPhone in Canada for a long time… I have a few buddy’s that work for Rogers in my location and they have not heard anything about the iPhone in Canada. You never know though, Rogers can just sign an agreement with apple or w/e and then we could have them…. only time will tell. Although I would purchase a StealthSIM if it was cheaper! haha I would rather donate to the Dev Team and see a software release in a couple weeks :p

Cheers guys!

ok. lets say that i buy an iphone now and use stealthSIM. then rogers release in june for instance. at that point, could just relock my iphone and go through the official rogers activation process?

i am worried about 3 things:
1- wait forever for rogers to release
2- constanly fight to re unlock phone when there are new releases
3- lose the warranty (i hear that when you call for service, they asked for your phone number)

i appreciate replies!

Well, by owning an iPhone from the USA, there are certain things you have to accommodate for–such as lack of tech support and warranty.

1. We have no idea when Rogers will release the iPhone. So if you don’t want to wait anymore, the StealthSIM can be your quick fix but it will cost you.

2. The “cat and mouse” game that goes on really depends on your needs. If you are satisfied with your current firmware, which will be at 1.1.2, then there is no need to update! I know lots of people who still love their iPhones on 1.0.2 because it works and there are no problems with 3rd party applications.

3. Well, this goes back to owning an American product in Canada. You do have some risk so warranty is void the moment you jailbreak the iPhone. One possible way for warranty is to restore your iPhone, then go back to an Apple store with a receipt.

Anyways, the bottom line is if you want the StealthSIM to unlock your 1.1.2 NOW, you are sitting pretty. The TurboSIM is in low supply which has lead to its inflated price (plus it can be re-programmed, as Hadimirza mentioned).

The reason Turbosim costs more than stealthsim is because Stealthsim is not reprogrammable. That means that in case apple attempts to block all sim-cloning solutions, and the stleathsim stops working and devs cant do anything, your better off throwing it out. with turbosim you can reprogram it if apple ever makes an attempt to block it.
