1Password Touch ID Support Coming to MacBook Pro Touch Bar [VIDEO]

Canada’s AgileBits, the makers of popular password manager (and must-have) 1Password, has just confirmed they will be releasing Touch ID support for the Touch Bar in the new MacBook Pro line up:

Now that the new MacBook Pro’s have Touch ID we can bring that same great feeling you are used to on iPhone to your Mac, and it looks pretty darn cool too.

Below is a video recorded from their Xcode simulator of what unlocking your 1Password vault with Touch ID on the Mac will look like:

The company has also come up with some early designs, on what customizations the Touch Bar will bring for 1Password—check them out below:

As we hear more and more about developers coming up with support for Touch Bar, it will definitely help increase the speed of user workflows and save time. I can’t wait to see the update to 1Password when my new MacBook Pro arrives.
