Alleged ‘iPhone 12 Pro’ Leaks Showing Polished Metal Frame

YouTube channel EverythingApplePro is set to share a hands-on video later today of what is apparently Apple’s forthcoming ‘iPhone 12 Pro’.
In a teaser image posted on Twitter, EverythingApplePro shows off the side view of the alleged iPhone 12 Pro, with a polished metal frame and power button showing still on the right side. The SIM card tray looks to remain on the right. The chassis design looks reminiscent of the stainless steel frame from the iconic iPhone 4/4S.

When questioned about the veracity of the image and why a clearer photo wasn’t taken, EverythingApplePro replied, “This is ripped from a video, I have clearer photos I will share too.”
Someone else said, “Bruh. That’s not real,” to which the YouTube channel replied, “Absolutely real, have interior shots too.”
EverythingApplePro goes on to says this is a “legit chassis leak” and as for the power button, “it’s missing” from the image.
Meanwhile, Apple leaker Jon Prosser also shared more alleged information today regarding iPhone 12, citing “120hz (codename: d6x) didn’t make mass production.”

Prosser also added, “iPhone 12 went into mass production this week,” and “iOS 14.1 won’t be complete until 10/9. They still have to install 14.1 on all the units.”
“It’s literally impossible for them to ship these phones until mid-late next month. Would be shocked if they announced iPhone at the event,” added Prosser.

Apple is set to hold a special event on Tuesday, September 15 at 10am PT/1PM ET, where the company is expected to announce new Apple Watch models, but not the iPhone, which is rather to be unveiled in October.
