Amazon Canada has launched a new perk for Prime members in Canada called Prime Reading, offering hundreds of free books at no extra cost.

The company says Prime Reading offers “hundreds of popular Kindle books”, including the likes of bestsellers such as Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People and over 90 Lonely Planet guides, to go with titles from Canadian authors such as Sara Gruen, Emma Donoghue, and Thomas King.

Amazon says award-winning comics are also available such as Star Wars, Batman Vol 1: I am Gotham, Captain Marvel Vol 1 and Black Panther.

“Amazon Prime already offers Canadian members great value with fast delivery, movies and TV through Prime Video, and lots more,” said Mike Strauch, Country Manager for Amazon Canada, in an issued statement to iPhone in Canada.

“It just got even better with the addition of Prime Reading, which gives customers access to hundreds of books and comics, including bestsellers like The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller and The Man in the High Castle by Phillip K. Dick for no additional cost. Prime members will love the range of Kindle books now available to them,” added Strauch.

How to access Prime Reading today? It’s available within the free Kindle apps on iPhone iPad, Android tablets, PC, Mac, Kindle devices and Amazon Fire tablets.

Amazon Prime comes with a free 30-day trial and then costs $7.99 per month or $79 annually (update: fixed pricing)
