Apple to Launch Seven Products in the First Half of 2020: Kuo

Will we see an updated iPhone SE in 2020?

According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, his latest research note details six new products he expects Apple to launch in the first half of 2020, reports MacRumors.

Kuo says, “We forecast that Apple’s major new hardware products in 1H20 include the 4.7-inch LCD iPhone, iPad Pro, MacBook Pro/Air, smaller wireless charging mat, UWB tag, and a high-end Bluetooth headphone.”

The 4.7-inch LCD iPhone is most likely the rumoured iPhone SE 2, while iPad Pro, MacBook Pro and MacBook Air will most likely be product refreshes. As for a ‘smaller wireless charging mat’, that sounds like a simpler version of the failed AirPower, while UWB refers to Apple’s rumoured “AirTag”. As for a “high-end Bluetooth headphone”, that may be either Apple-branded or Beats?

We’ll most likely hear about new products from leaks in Apple’s supply chain as we head further into 2020.

Another part of Kuo’s research note, according to 9to5Mac, warns Apple’s supply chain may be disrupted by the coronavirus, which may affect upcoming product line ups and possibly cause delays.
