Apple Now Lets You Engrave Emojis on AirPods Charging Cases for Free

Apple has another marketing tactic to get you to buy its AirPods wireless headphones online—you can now engrave emojis onto charging cases.

Apple updated its website yesterday to indicate, “new personal engraving options, from A to emoji.”

When you click to purchase AirPods, an engraving option is available for a limited selection of emojis, such as smiley faces, poop, unicorn, robot, skull and more.

“Personalise it for free. Engrave an emoji, name, initials, phone number or date. Only at Apple.” Previously, customers could engrave text, but emojis were not possible. You can only choose to engrave one or the other, not both.
