Apple Slashes iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini Pricing in Canada

After announcing its new iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro line up, Apple has slashed the price of last year’s iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini.

Here’s the new 2021 pricing for the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini, with changes in parentheses.

iPhone 12 mini

• 64GB – $799 CAD (-$180)
• 128GB – $869 CAD (-$180)
• 256GB – $1009CAD (-$180)

iPhone 12  

• 64GB – $949 CAD (-$180)
• 128GB – $1019 CAD (-$180)
• 256GB – $1159 CAD (-$180)

So we’re seeing a $180 price cut across the board, which works out to an 18% discount on the 64GB model. Not bad for waiting until after the announcement to buy an iPhone 12.

What’s new with iPhone 12s and iPhone 12s mini…err, we mean iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini? Essentially diagonally placed cameras on the back, new colours and a faster CPU and camera and battery upgrades.

These price drops will likely result in lower pricing from wireless carriers as well, so as we head into Black Friday and Christmas and Boxing Days, there may be more deals to be had for last year’s iPhones.

We’re throwing our iPhone 12 Pro Max into the garbage ahead of this Friday’s iPhone 13 Pro Max pre-orders (okay not really but we want to; it’s going to the wife).
