New Apple TV 4K Canadian Pricing Starts at $229 CAD

4K Apple TV

Apple has just announced the latest Apple TV 4K with High Dynamic Range (HDR) capabilities at a special event at the Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino, California. With support for both 4K and HDR, the new Apple TV brings unbelievably sharp, crisp images, richer, more true-to-life colours, and far greater detail in both dark and bright scenes to your 4K-supported HDTV.

“Bring the magic of the cinema straight to your living room with the new Apple TV 4K,” said Eddy Cue, Apple’s senior vice president of Internet Software and Services. “Customers will love watching stunning 4K HDR movies from an impressive catalog on iTunes, while also getting automatic upgrades of 4K HDR movies already in their iTunes library and enjoying 4K content on services like Netflix, coming soon.”

The new Apple TV 4K delivers a vivid 4K HDR experience, thanks to its powerful A10X Fusion chip, the same chip that powers the iPad Pro. It supports both Dolby Vision and HDR10 to ensure users can enjoy incredible-looking TV shows and movies on any HDR TV. It also has a built-in high-performance 4K video scaler that makes HD content look better on a 4K TV.
