Audio Meditations Go Live in Apple Watch Mindfulness App

Earlier this month, Apple announced that Apple Fitness+ subscribers will soon have access to guided Audio Meditations, which will offer a simple way to practice mindfulness anywhere, anytime, and today, the feature has been enabled in the Mindfulness app (via Reddit).


“Meditation can help users reduce everyday stress, develop a greater sense of awareness, and build resilience to face life’s challenges,” says Apple, while noting that guided Meditations will help users develop a regular meditation routine and improve their overall sense of well-being.


Users can choose from nine guided Meditation themes — Purpose, Kindness, Gratitude, Awareness, Creativity, Wisdom, Calm, Focus, and Resilience — for an engaging video experience alongside the Fitness+ trainers.

Audio Meditations have been remotely turned on in the Mindfulness Apple Watch app and should appear when you launch it.

Using the Mindfulness app, you can start a Workout, like Outdoor Walk, to earn Exercise minutes and Move calories while simultaneously earning Mindfulness minutes.
