Backbone and Discord have announced a partnership to offer Backbone+ subscribers complimentary access to Discord Nitro for three months. Subscribers of the premium service offered by the mobile controller brand can start taking advantage of these perks starting today.

Backbone has brought Discord, the popular voice and messaging chat platform, into the fold of its Backbone+ subscription. Discord Nitro is in and of itself a premium service that offers enhanced features for Discord users. By having an active Backbone+ subscription, users can gain access to the following features:

  • Server boosting, GIF avatars, and global custom emojis
  • Higher video quality options such as 4K 60fps screen shares
  • Upgrade emojis and use them anywhere
  • Bigger file uploads from 8MB to 100MB

Typically, Discord Nitro costs $9.99 CAD/month or $99.99 CAD for an annual subscription. However, Backbone+ subscribers will gain access to these perks for a total of three months.

Once a subscriber logs into the Backbone+ app, they can navigate to either the ‘Perks & Rewards’ or ‘Getting Started’ row and select ‘Get 3 Free Months of Discord Nitro.’ This will initiate the offer for the user.
