Last Friday, Disney+ launched the premiere episode of Marvel Studios’ ‘The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.’
On Monday afternoon, Disney announced the Marvel Studios show has become the “most watched series premiere ever on Disney+ during its opening weekend, Friday, March 19 – Sunday, March 22, and the most watched title overall for the same time period on a global basis, including in Disney+ Hotstar markets,” in an emailed press release.
Along with the premiere of ‘The Falcon and The Winter Soldier’, Marvel Studios’ ‘WandaVision’ and the season two premiere of ‘The Mandalorian’ are now the three most-watched Disney+ Original series opening weekends since the service launched.
New episodes of ‘The Falcon and The Winter Solider’ will be released every Friday, for a total of six episodes in the series.
