If you placed a pre-order for Apple’s latest M1 iPad Pro, many have moved into the ‘Preparing to Ship’ phase, as of yesterday.
For example, pre-orders for Apple’s 12.9-inch iPad Pro Wi-Fi 128GB have reached this status, signalling shipping will be happening soon. According to Apple, this iPad Pro is expected for delivery by June 3, 2021.
As the first iPad Pro with a miniLED display, Apple says the 12.9-inch model now brings extreme dynamic range thanks to the new Liquid Retina XDR display. The new display has a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, and features 1000 nits of full‑screen brightness and 1600 nits of peak brightness, to join P3 wide colour, True Tone and ProMotion.
Apple’s website says its new iPad Pro will be “available second half of May”, the same time as its new M1 iMac.
