Samsung’s Galaxy Buds Pro Will Apparently Cost $199 USD, According to New Leak

Although Samsung has not officially announced its new high-end wireless earbuds, dubbed the Galaxy Buds Pro, a new leak has signalled what they may cost.

On Twitter, credible tech leaker WalkingCat has released a series of slides regarding the Galaxy Buds Pro. In a breakdown slide, the Galaxy Buds Pro is said to have active noise cancellation, have an IPX7 water resistance rating, and have Bixby support. Additionally, the Galaxy Buds Pro is shown to be priced at $199 USD.

Based on the slide, Samsung intends to have the Galaxy Buds Pro support up to eight hours of play time with the earbuds alone. 28 hours of play time will be possible with a full charge in the case. Additionally, four and a half hours of talk time will be possible, with an extension of 15 hours thanks to the case.

In a second slide shared by WalkingCat, it’s shown that the Galaxy Buds Pro will have an 11mm woofer and a 6.5mm tweeter built into each earbud. Spatial audio is also confirmed along with Ambient Sound and Conversation Mode.

Samsung has yet to officially reveal the Galaxy Buds Pro earbuds. While the slides appear to be legitimate and WalkingCat has been credible in the past, we’ll wait for confirmation from Samsung. Based on the evidence above, the Galaxy Buds Pro appears to be a very accessible, yet powerful set of wireless earbuds.
