Instagram Will Soon Let Users Download All Their Content

According to a new report from TechCrunch, Instagram is working on a new tool that will let you download all of the content you ever shared on the social network.

A spokesperson for the company said that users will have access to download photos, videos, and messages using the tool. Instagram’s parent company Facebook has already released a tool to let their users download their content.

Not having this tool on Instagram makes it difficult for users who have shared a lot of content to get access to their data. There is not even an option that lets users save images through simple share sheets or tap gestures.

Instagram says that they are planning to share additional details “very soon” when the tool is launched to all users.
