iOS 10 Public Beta 2 Download Out, Along with macOS Sierra 10.12

Apple has released iOS 10 Public Beta 2, along with macOS Sierra 10.12 Public Beta 2 for download.

Beta testers can get the update over-the-air by going to Settings > General > Software Update on their iOS devices.

For macOS users, just go to the Apple menu, About this Mac and then go to Software Update.

Also out today is the ninth release of Safari Technology Preview.

If you’re not part of the Apple Beta Software Program, you can click here to sign up. However, be warned this is beta software so there are bugs and other issues to be expected when testing it out.

Earlier this week, Apple released third betas of iOS 10, watchOS 3, tvOS 10 and macOS Sierra to developers to test. All final releases are set to debut this fall, so if you want to avoid beta bugs and sluggish performance (and worse battery life), it’s probably best to wait.

I do hope this means I’ll be able to use some of my apps again, like Tunespan.

That would most likely be left up to the app developers to make it native with 10.

Downloading public beta 2. Found V1 to be more solid than most public betas I’ve tried since they launched that program. Didn’t irretrievably break anything.
