iOS 11.2.1 Download and tvOS 11.2.1 Available, Fixes HomeKit Security Flaw

Apple has released iOS 11.2.1, which says it “fixes bugs including an issue that could disable remote access to shared users of the Home app.” The over-the-air update is 68.7MB for the iPhone X.

You may recall Apple had patched a HomeKit vulnerability discovered recently, which allowed unauthorized remote access to smart devices. This iOS 11.2.1 update completes that fix for the vulnerability.

Apple has also released tvOS 11.2.1, which also addresses the HomeKit bug as well.

Same problem here; my best guess is that there’s something they need to allow on their servers, and they’re just waiting for people to update their phones. But I’m really just guessing here.
