iOS 12 Beta 7 Sluggish Performance Issue Results in Apple Pulling Update

After releasing iOS 12 beta 7 and more today for developers, Apple has suddenly pulled the over-the-air update and standalone download, after reports online from developers noting sluggish performance issues.

Developer Guilherme Rambo shared on Twitter a video of just how slow the App Store loaded on iOS 12 beta 7:

Those testing iOS 12 beta 7 noted how Geekbench benchmarks were resulting in poor scores, in regards to the laggy performance issue.

Rambo says “I’m happy to report that the issue goes away after a few minutes,” however, others note the slow system performance just returns.

With iOS 12 beta 7 pulled for developers now, don’t expect public beta testers to receive this update today. I’m glad Apple is listening to developers and removed this update altogether so quickly.

Stay tuned, as this beta will eventually get re-released, which we suspect will happen very quickly, given the timeframe leading into a possible September iPhone event.
