iPhone 11 Pro vs iPhone 11 Pro Max Drop Test [VIDEO]

Yes, it’s that time of year again. No, not the release of Apple’s newest iPhones, but YouTubers releasing drop tests featuring the latest phones from Apple.

EverythingApplePro has just published its iPhone 11 Pro vs iPhone 11 Pro Max drop test.

Apple touted these new iPhones had the “world’s strongest glass” at its special event, so it’ll be interesting to see how they fare.

From waist height, both phones were unscathed, aside from some scratches to the stainless steel bands.

“The shock absorption is amazing,” explains EverythingApplePro, after dropping the phones on their faces and backs multiple times.

From about head height, both phones were able to withstand multiples drops, with only the SIM tray popping out during one drop. “They’re both holding up, it’s not just luck,” says the channel.

“They’ve been dropped eight times at various angles, and nothing. It’s not a coincidence,” says EAP.



Stepping up to the ladder height drop test at 10-feet, on second attempts from the higher drop point, one phone landed on top of another and in the end, glass on the front of one phone, and the back glass on another finally shattered.

Even with shattered front and rear glass displays, Face ID and both front and rear cameras still functioned.

“They’ve made the screen too good. I’m actually very shocked at the durability of these phones, Apple did fantastic,” says EAP. The channel still suggests to use a case, however.
