Apple Rolls Out Feature Updates for Keynote, Pages, and Numbers for Mac, iOS

Apple has today introduced some new features for its iWork suite of apps for both Mac and iOS, including updates for Keynote, Pages, and Numbers, which are now available to download for free via the App Store.

For the Numbers app, Apple has added the ability to copy a snapshot of table cells without formulas, categories, or hidden values. Users can now edit font size more precisely with up to two decimal places and can also create formulas and quickly fill cells with autofill using VoiceOver.

Keynote for iOS now features an option to enlarge slides to a maximum zoom level of 400%. Also, here is a new feature for editing font size more precisely with up to two decimal places.

The Shortcuts app can now be used by Mac users to create or open presentations, rehearse a slideshow, or start presenting.

Lastly, the Pages app has been updated for iOS and Mac users with the following new features:

  • Publish directly to Apple Books with larger file sizes up to 2 GB
  • Insert page numbers anywhere in your document
  • Edit font size more precisely with up to two decimal places
  • Quickly start writing a new document on iPhone—just touch and hold the Pages app icon on the Home Screen
  • Read comments and track changes using VoiceOver
