Is the Steve Jobs film ever going to make it to the silver screen? If and when it does, the news now, according to Deadline, is that Oscar winner Natalie Portman is in talks to join the cast:
Natalie Portman is in talks to join Universal’s Steve Jobs biopic. Character details were not revealed, but it is expected to be a major role.
The addition of Portman could give the film some new interest and inject fresh life into the ongoing project. The script was written by Aaron Sorkin and is to be directed by Danny Boyle, while Michael Fassbender (a.k.a Magneto) is said to play Steve Jobs.
Just yesterday Universal Pictures confirmed it had acquired the Steve Jobs film from Sony Pictures for a reported $30 million.
