Shared by Reddit user Steven Russell, who was able to pick up the MagSafe Battery Pack from a local Apple Store last week, the photos show the Battery Pack attached magnetically to the back of the iPhone 12 Pro.

According to Russell, the Battery Pack has a hard but smooth plastic and has a very strong magnetic attraction to his iPhone, even with Apple’s silicone MagSafe case on the device. He also said that even though the battery pack is a bit thick, its rounded edges make it comfortable to hold.

Russell has also confirmed that the MagSafe Battery Pack can wirelessly charge the AirPods as well.

Apple says the battery pack is able to wirelessly charge the iPhone at up to 5W on the go, or at up to 15W when the battery pack is connected to a 20W or higher power adapter with a Lightning to USB-C cable.

At the moment, you can order the $119 MagSafe Battery Pack via Apple online in white colour with an estimated delivery date of late July.
