Nintendo’s ‘Fire Emblem Heroes’ RPG Coming Soon to iOS [TRAILER]

Nintendo plans to bring the Fire Emblem series to iOS and Android, launching for the latter on February 2, 2017, a release which includes Canada. The turn-based battle game will come with touch and drag controls, with a story that combines old and new Hero characters, as you lead your army save the Kingdom of Askr.

While Android users will get access to this game first next month, expect iOS to follow shortly. The game will be freemium, powered by in-app purchases.

Update: Nintendo emailed the following statement to iPhone in Canada:

“In recent years, the popularity of the Fire Emblem franchise has grown exponentially,” said Pierre-Paul Trepanier, Nintendo of Canada’s General Manager and Senior Director. “The devoted fan base and series newcomers alike will soon have an abundance of new games to play on a variety of devices. There’s never been a better time to be a Fire Emblem fan or jump in for the first time.”

This is probably going to be better then Super Mario Run, but F2P and Pay 2 Win model. Compared to the one time fee of Mario.
