The company’s Twitter account has been retweeting customer tweets to add to the cryptic nature of what could be coming for 2015.

Earlier this month, Pebble’s Canadian CEO Eric Migicovsky confirmed to The Verge in an interview new products were coming this year, including a new software platform unlike what we’ve seen on smart watches so far.

“It doesn’t look like what we have today, and it doesn’t look like what’s on your smartphone,”

With over 1 million Pebble smart watches sold, a team of over 100 people, and a new platform coming, the company looks to be ready to battle the Apple Watch and other smart watch companies.

What’s lacking so far is a colour screen and touch capabilities, which has helped the company keep costs low, allowing for an easier barrier of entry for first-time smartwatch users. But the e-ink display has allowed for stellar battery life, which in our cases has held up for up to a week.

We are still using our Pebble to receive notifications from our iPhone (when it decides to connect properly). Albeit limited in what it can do, the watch still works for bringing alerts to your wrist if you have it set up properly.

Are you still using your Pebble?
