Pokemon GO is available for download in Canada, the US, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Italy, Spain, Portual and the following 26 countries, launched yesterday: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Greenland, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, and Switzerland.
If you downloaded the game from the US App Store, you can reinstall it with the Canadian version and you should still have your game progress saved, as it’s tied to your Google account or Pokemon account.
Update 12:48PM PDT: Looks like servers are down…the game won’t load past the start up screen. Be patient, folks.

I hope they created more servers before releasing. If they didn’t, that would be pointless.
Everything was fine around 3PM or so.
Funny enough in less than 5 hours it’s the top grossing game on Google Play Store.
ANY chance we can move anything to do with pokemon off the feed for the main news? I for one have already reached my upper tolerance level for this fad and really, it’s just a game so i’d rather not turn this into a gaming blog.

It’s not possible right now, but don’t worry we will always try to keep balanced coverage. But the Pokemon Go train is here and who knows how long it’ll last.
So I’ve just come back from a 10-day-road trip with my family, and I can tell you that it was made so much better by playing Pokemon Go. My son is 14, I’m 48, and we both had equal fun visiting the various Pokestops, collecting Pokeballs, hurling them at wild Pokemon as they appeared on our phones, and adding the Pokemon to our growing collection. We found attractions and things we would have never found otherwise, we walked for miles and enjoyed the surroundings, and the company of other players. I’m saying, don’t diss it before you try. I’m not usually a gamer. In fact, I never even played Farmville, or Candy Crush or whatever else they do these days. Besides Monuments, I don’t have any other game on my phone other than Pokemon Go. I’m looking forward to how the game develops.
