Twitter for Mobile Now Lets You Thread Multiple Tweets Together

A new feature gradually being rolled out to Twitter users on iOS makes it easier to thread multiple tweets together. As pointed out by TechCrunch, the feature was officially announced by Twitter yesterday and lets users link their tweets together as they compose them.

The new feature lets Twitter for mobile users to pull down as they’re composing a tweet to add to their previous tweet by creating a thread or seeing a ‘continue thread’ option. When they tap the three-dots menu, it brings up an interface of older tweets that they can link the new tweet to and continue the thread.

Twitter’s new feature appears to be an alternative for users to being organized enough to tweet a perfectly threaded series of thoughts in the first place. But whether the feature actually works to boost threads and reduces broken threads remains to be seen.
