Twitter Raptors Data: #WeTheNorth Sees 385% More Mentions vs. #DubNation in the Finals

The Toronto Raptors are 2019 NBA Champions. It still sounds crazy a Canadian team has won the NBA title and will take some time for that to soak in.

Twitter has released some data related to the historic win by the Raptors, shared with iPhone in Canada.

According to the social network, “During the NBA Finals, @Raptors had 55% more Twitter mentions than @Warriors while #WeTheNorth had 385% more Twitter mentions than #DubNation.”

Twitter says the most-tweeted about Raptors games consisted of the last eight play since May 12, 2019. The championship victory on June 13, 2019, saw the “most single-day mentions of Toronto in history.”
