How to Use Live Text in Photos on iPhone and iPad [VIDEO]

In another new video uploaded to its support channel on YouTube, Apple has detailed the new ‘Live Text’ feature introduced in iOS 15 and iPadOS 15, which lets you copy text or tap links, including emails or phone numbers, in photos.

The new Live Text feature lets users copy and share text within photos, translate languages, make a call, and more. Live Text recognizes useful information within your photos and online images, so you can make a call, send an email, or look up directions with just a tap on the highlighted text in a photo.

You can also use Live Text in the Camera app by pointing your iPhone camera at a photo or image with text, then tap the indicator icon to quickly make a phone call, translate the text, and more.

To turn on Live Text for all supported languages, go to Settings > General > Language & Region, and enable Live Text.
