Apple’s Voice Memos Icon is the Waveform from Recording “Apple” [PIC]
How often do you use Apple’s Voice Memo app? You may recall the app’s icon is a waveform, but did you know what it’s from? A discovery by Mike Rundle (@flyosity), the creator of Filters for iPhone, notes the waveform is actually from recording the word “Apple”:

Rundle also follows up to say “It also produces that waveform if you say the word ‘asshole’ so take from that what you will.”
We’ve tried this ourselves and can verify it’s true. Pretty neat stuff. Now, all we have to do is sit back and wait for Samsung to copy this (right??).
