Walmart 2015 Black Friday: iPhone 6 for $88; iPad mini 2 for $298
If you’re ready to spend money, Black Friday awaits you. Walmart Canada has released their flyer for the shopping event, which starts on November 27. On sale are numerous Apple products–here’s what you can get:
- 16GB iPad mini 2 for $298, plus bonus $20 Walmart gift card (last year it was iPad mini for $228 + $50 GC)

- 16GB iPad Air for $378, plus bonus $20 Walmart gift card (was $398 last year)
- 16GB iPod touch for $198 (space gray, gold, blue, pink)
- 16GB iPhone 6 for $88 on contract with Rogers, TELUS, Bell
- 16GB iPhone 5s for $0 on contract Rogers, TELUS, Bell plus bonus $50 Walmart gift card (same as last year)
If you’ve been waiting to pick up a Retina iPad mini, the iPad mini 2 for $298 plus the gift card might be decent for the kids. Also, the 16GB iPhone 6 on contract for $88 is cheaper compared to regular contract pricing which starts at $269, if you’re okay with signing on the dotted line.
We’ll be posting a Black Friday deals round up later this week, so stay tuned!

The ipad mini 2 would be good for kids… But what about using it as the only tablet in the house?
My wife has an iPad mini 2 and it’s still holding up very well as a ‘coffee table’ iPad.
I’ve had the mini 2 since launch and I see no need to upgrade. IMO it’s the perfect sized iPad. If you’re thinking of getting an iPad, this deal is a no brainier.
“The 16GB iPhone 6 on contract for $88 is cheaper compared to regular contract pricing which starts at $399” Err… are you talking about iPhone 6 or 6s?
Whoops, you’re right, corrected to say $269. Thanks
I would like to know if we can buy the iphone 6 online or we have to go in store at $88? Thanks
I believe you’ll have to go in-store to get the $88 price, as you’ll need to sign a contract at their mobile kiosk. Best Buy has TELUS and Bell versions for $79 right now…
Bah, are the 64+ GB models also being discounted?
What you see is what you get, unless there are unadvertised surprises.
