What’s New in iOS 11.1 Beta 3 [VIDEO]

Yesterday Apple released iOS 11.1 beta 3, along with similar betas for watchOS 4.1 and tvOS 11.1. While the company already stated it had patched the KRACK Wi-Fi WPA2 exploit in its latest betas, there’s not much else new in iOS 11.1 beta 3.

YouTube channel EverythingApplePro has dived into the beta to share what’s new, and observations note lag with 3D Touch has essentially disappeared, while haptic feedback has returned when inputting an incorrect passcode on the lock screen.

As for Reachability, it has returned in iOS 11.1 beta 3, making it much easier for Plus-sized iPhone users to access Notification Center and interacting with notifications. This means those with smaller hands no longer need to shuffle their grip to reach the top area of the iPhone display.

Also, a bug was found when powering off the device and pressing the cancel button—It can freeze up the phone and hard resetting won’t work either.

Meanwhile, others who have installed iOS 11.1 beta 3 are saying battery life has improved somewhat compared to before, along with devices feeling smoother overall.
