SpaceX will launch a global cellphone service in 2023 with partner T-Mobile.

The rebate program is opening applications from residents and business owners, and is expected to benefit as many as 2,200 more businesses and individuals.

SpaceX claims Starlink Maritime will provide "high-speed, low-latency internet with up to 350 Mbps download while at sea."

Quebec says it will leverage SpaceX's Starlink satellite internet for hard to reach homes.

Users can "temporarily move their Starlink to new locations in order to receive service anywhere within the same continent Starlink provides active coverage."

The federal government has commented on why SpaceX Starlink isn't used for rural high speed internet roll outs.
